Running stitch is one of my favorite stitches because I am not really good at all these things so I find this one the easiest. Also, backstitching is easy to learn and if you want to learn it, you can definitely do that in a short period of time.

Split Stitch

Split stitch is a very flexible method of forming unique designs. There is a lot that you can achieve with this kind of stitch. It can be used for producing almost anything and everything. You can get straight lines with this technique. However, if you look at those straight lines, they will form the shape of a braid. This is my favorite feature of split stitch because you do get a straight line but that straight line is patterned and is unique, not simple and plain straight. You can create flowers, patterns, leaves and so much more with this type of stitch.

Chain Stitch

Chain stitch, as the name suggests, leads to the formation of a chain-like pattern. This is the recently trending style of embroidery and this style comes from Japanese roots as well as has its origin in Scandinavia. In this method, you use the needle and floss and use them to produce a loop-type shape in a line. This ultimately leads to a chain-like pattern.

Lazy Daisy

This is another form of embroidery. The lazy daisy is basically a further extension of the chain stitch which means that its basic rules are the same as that of the chain stitch but it offers more versatility. Seed Stitch

Seed stitches are really cute and elegant and those who like simplicity prefer such type of Stichting. Basically, in this method, you go for straight and sharp stitches because the design that you get at the end is also based on teeny tiny details.
